money is money, right?

Jun 3, 2022

Morning coffee in front of me before doctor’s appointment for my Mom numbered 2384, I surfed through news articles and Twitter. It appears to me that the mainstream media is throwing a baby fit over the Depp/Heard court decision.

Heard’s attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, made the PR rounds yesterday saying the exact same things over and over. These appearances were picked up by other outlets and good ole’ Elaine’s face was everywhere.

What I took from her appearances are claims that: (a) Amber was “demonized” in the courtroom by Depp’s lawyers, (b) they “won” in the UK trial, (c) evidence was suppressed in this trial by the bad judge, (d) social media played a large role in the loss because it favored Depp and cameras were in the courtroom, (e) Heard is going to appeal, and (f) she can’t pay the damages awarded to Depp because she has no money.

How can Amber Heard pay for an appeal but has no money to pay damages? And what about Snoop Dogg?

CNN promotes clickbait

Mainstream media outlets simply can’t understand why we’re not believing them. Really?

Y’all… while we might have some nice homes in my city, I’m not aware of any Snoop Dogg mansion and I’ve not seen him shopping at the local Walmart. I even looked for him at the hospital today, but sadly, I didn’t catch a glimpse of him anywhere. We couldn’t even find his mansion from a 5th floor vantage point… please be more specific CNN. 🙄

looking for Snoop's place.

And finally, Amber Heard’s op-ed piece that was published by The Washington Post — you know, the center of this whole thing — didn’t remove the article that was found to have been untrue, defamed Depp, and was written/published with malice. What they did was to add an editor’s note.

Do you think that’s enough?

TIL (Today I Learned): Snoop Dog claimed that in 1994, Queen Elizabeth stopped him from getting kicked out of the UK over murder charges.
