Not yet 10:00 AM and it’s already 85°F. Today, Hoosiers can expect about 95°F by early afternoon. I can expect this to happen more often…
Time to sell!
In other news — and not because there is a fly in my coffee — I’ve made the commitment to sell this house. My realtor will be taking photos tomorrow. My biggest worry is showing the darned thing. What exactly am I going to do with my two huge hounds? I can put them in the backyard but that’s a real problem, as well. A BIG problem!
Merida is too rough to be out at the same time as Dharma without adult supervision. Even then, it’s like herding mosquitos. That doesn’t even take into account that she’ll do everything she can to open the door herself and go inside.
Moving will be incredibly hard — especially when we really don’t have anywhere that’s “move-in” ready to go to. Again, those two big dogs are only going to make everything more difficult. And don’t forget sweltering heat.
I just want it to be over.
My dream is that the first person that sees the house will make an offer. My second big dream is they don’t have a problem with a 30-day window for me to move. It’s a great neighborhood and a fabulous house! You — whoever you are — would look good here. 😉
Wish me luck, y’all!
Here goes nothin’…
TIL (Today I Learned): Robin Williams was offered, and accepted the role of The Joker in the 1989 film, “Batman.” Warner Brothers had only made the offer to bait their first choice, Jack Nicholson, into signing on, which he eventually did. Williams was furious, and demanded an apology from the film studio.
