My favorite brother tested with home rapid tests for COVID and was negative… but really sick. His fever broke late yesterday evening and he was about to do the victory lap — but he woke at 4:00 AM this morning with a horrible sore throat and a fever back over 102°. His wife, Tammy, called their doctor at 7:30 AM.
After drawing blood and also doing a deep-dive into his nasal cavity, he was sent home to wait 48-hours for results. Once home, he did one more rapid test and it was positive. 🙁
He’s blaming Tammy because she feeds the homeless. I understand where he’s coming from on that… but who could fault her for going with others from their church to help those in need?
We’re healthy in the hood!
COVID is gone from here right now and we’re all healthy, but this house-selling thing is a bit on everyone’s nerves. Some of us control it better than others.
TIL (Today I Learned): The Capitol was designed to have George Washington’s tomb on public display. Both houses passed bills saying he should be buried there, and his wife consented, but due to various delays it took until 1830 for it to be viable. After an attempted theft of his head, the project was cancelled.
