The whatever room has been painted. Phase #1 is complete. Next comes the cover-up of the whiteboard, moving the freezer and contents, and hanging stuff on the walls.
It’s difficult to paint in a room full of stuff!
The tanning bed weighs a bajillion pounds. The treadmill weighs a bajillion pounds. Just scooting them to the middle of the room was about above my paygrade. Most of my time yesterday was spent walking around with paint on a brush or roller instead of applying it to the walls. 🙄
But the painting is done. Yippee!
I covered the blackboard paint with a DARK gray (Orien) I had used at the Seymour house. The top gray is white ceiling paint with the dark paint left over in my pan mixed in. My own creation… I’ll name it ‘Shell Gray.” It’s a one-of-a-kind color and not for resale.
TIL (Today I Learned): There is a species of mushroom that infects and zombifies carpenter ants. The mushroom slowly takes control of the ant’s motor functions and leads them away from the colony to die in a place ideal for growing. Then the mushroom grows out of the ant’s head.
