This morning — even though it was COLD outside — I took my coffee and sat in the sun.
In my pajamas and fuzzy socks.
In Seymour, we had a sunroom that we sat in quite often. It was private with vertical blinds all around. Although sun shone through the 3 sides of windows, it just wasn’t the same feeling as sitting in the sunshine. Not once when I lived there did I ever sit outside. Not one time.
Had I not just woken up 30-minutes before going outside this morning, I might’ve taken a nap too!
Summer is all downhill from here.
After the heavy frost yesterday, I’m guessing the green on trees is on its way out. According the the Farmers’ Almanac, peak fall foliage dates this year are October 12-28 for my part of Indiana. The Almanac also says it should last for about 2 weeks. There’s a little bit of color so far… but not much.
