Well, it’s downright cold.
We’re going to go from 70s to 30s by weekend. Now that wouldn’t be a big deal except that here I may freeze to death. The split units upstairs still aren’t working as they should, and once it gets frigid outside the wood furnace needs to be activated. We don’t yet know how to do that.
I wonder how cold it will be at 6:15 AM ET tomorrow morning.
I plan to set an alarm to get up to see and take a few photos of the blood moon eclipse. It’s supposed to commence totality at 5:17 AM ET and go on for about an hour and a half. Yes, I know I’m pushing the time limit. I sure hope I don’t miss it since there won’t be another until 2025.
For now… this is the best I’ve got…
TIL (Today I Learned): British Airways Flight 9 flew through a cloud of volcanic ash causing all four engines to stop. Captain Eric Moody told the passengers that, “We have a small problem. All four engines have stopped. We are all doing our damnedest to get them going again. I trust you are not in too much distress.”
