taters, onions, a paper plate and napkin

Merida is a counter surfer. 😠

Before I had time to clean up the kitchen after breakfast, the black hound somehow reached a paper plate with leftover hashbrowns and onions. Yes, I know dogs aren’t supposed to have onions. Obviously, Merida was unaware. She ate all that was left PLUS 3/4 of the plate and 1/2 of a napkin.

I figured we’d have a challenging night but now wonder if her stomach is cast iron.

About an hour after that, she got on the couch and tried to drink Ben’s coffee. What was left in the glass spilled over the end table and onto the floor soaking everything in its path. She’s like having a 2 year-old that never grows up.

The only time she’s good is when she’s sleeping.

Merida is good when asleep

TIL (Today I Learned): In 1983, Air Force One (with Reagan aboard) landed six minutes before a microburst slammed into the ground at Andrews Air Force Base, causing wind speeds to hit 149 mph. At the time, that was the fastest wind speed ever measured by an anemometer.
