Do you have peace about your life and where you are right now? Let’s face it, how you live and where you live are factors that have an impact on that bottom line of satisfaction.
You don’t always get what you pay for.
I received an early morning text message from my favorite brother letting me know in his Las Vegas backyard it was 25 degrees. At that moment, it was 21 degrees here in the Ville. Not so different. Then he let me know they’re paying over $10 for a dozen eggs. We can snatch a dozen for $3.66.
Weather and cost of living are incredibly important when you’re thinking about your own lifestyle preferences. But your priorities are what matter. Right?
I’m aware there’s more to do and see in Las Vegas than what’s offered here in my small hometown. But there’s also perks for living here — even in the winter. There are a whole lot of things that simply aren’t available to those who prefer a Las Vegas lifestyle. Heck, there was more to do in Seymour than here… but I’ll never move back there.
The moral of the story here is you should water your own grass.
Don’t judge others on their lifestyle choices. The uniqueness of individuals is what makes life interesting!
I love hearing about the experiences of others that choose to live in different parts of our planet. Like my friend who lives on a California beach and is worried about the dejected 89 year-old man hitting on her. 🙂 But that doesn’t mean I’m packing my bags. I have peace about my life and where I am right now.
Except… that I’ve not been on the treadmill yet. And… Perry and Ben have passed their germs to me. Oh! And where I am right now it’s COLD outside. 🥶
