I’m one of those people that could spend 2 bajillion dollars $50 at a time — but panic when making big purchases. I have a really hard time letting go of lump sums. But today, I did just that.
Water – both cold and hot.
We have a new hot tub that should deliver this week — and an above ground pool to be installed in March. We opted for a Passion Spa called ‘Happy.’ We forgot to even take a photo of it while in Hendrix Pools, but we are happy, all things considered. (Yes, I know we both look scary — told you it makes me anxious to spend money.)
We had a hot tub before and loved it… especially in the winter. Even my Momma will get in and I doubt we could keep Mr. Pesky out. It should provide a lot of relaxation and entertainment for years to come.
We’ve also had an above ground pool before too. That purchase is something we all also enjoy — but I mainly wanted it for Colette. With her Dad working, she’ll be here quite a bit this summer and I’m guessing she’ll be in there daily.
And this will be the view…
Don’t forget walls!
All that and walls incoming — I’m just about done with what I want. EXCEPT… I now need a new Apple watch because my older one won’t stay charged and my Samsung watch is dead without using the Samsung phone. And, new living room furniture would be nice. 😏
TIL (Today I Learned): New York City is reintroducing millions of oysters into their harbor to help clean the water and create marine habitats. They’ve been collecting used shells from local restaurants to create new homes for juvenile oysters.
