Weather today was supposed to reach about 70 degrees and rain wasn’t supposed to be here until tomorrow. But instead, it’s not going to even hit 60 degrees and it rained all morning.
Poor Mr. Contractor…
Early rain meant my contractor couldn’t pick up the walls. Of course, that means another delay for his completion of this project. If that’s not bad enough, his uncle passed away so that’s a delay too. Then the wife of a close friend of his died… and someone else that I can’t remember. I just know that he was talking about how it happens in “threes.”
I certainly understand and would never pressure him to do a rain dance or miss a funeral. We’re just fine with the current situation… I just want it to be done and get back to “normal” around here. I’m sure he wants to finish too — he’ll want to be paid.
C’mon summertime — or at least a few spring days without rain!
The hot tub is back in great shape again after looking like swamp water. No attention while I was sick and that’s what happens. Wind is the worst when it comes to hot tub enjoyment… especially when it’s cold. The water spray on your face feels like ice when cool wind blows on it. The next worst weather is rain. Adults typically have dry hair in a spa — rain takes away from the overall experience.
It won’t be long until the remodel is complete, the sun is warm, the hot tub will have people in it, the pool will be installed, and we’ll be mowing a shit ton of grass at least once a week.
I’m ready!!
