Mr. Contractor appeared out of nowhere and finished everything… almost everything anyway. He’s still coming back after lunch to pick up his trash and do 2 little things that will take less than 5 minutes, but I paid him and we’re all happy.
That wasn’t the only awesome thing that happened either!
I sent a text to Fluff to bring a couple rick of wood since the rest of this week is supposed to be cold and I had ZERO pieces left. Although it took him a couple hours to answer my text, he was already on the way here when he replied.
While he was here, I asked him for a price to cut down the tree shown on the far right of the photo below:
I sent a text to Perry with the price, but Siri just put whatever she wanted out there. Perry didn’t hesitate to give his opinion when my text said, “big ASS tree,” instead of “big ASH tree.” 🙂
Next, my camera recorded an “event” that wasn’t just the neighbor’s cat.
Quick side rant… I keep my pets home. If you have a pet — no matter if it’s a cat, a dog, or an elephant — you should keep yours home too. I get alerts for movement and don’t get upset when it’s a bunny or a fox or a coyote, but it sure does piss me off when it’s a darned cat.
A screen grab from video makes for a horrible photo, but how bout Bambi visiting yesterday (look on the left of the photo below)? Mr. Pesky says I need a salt block and I agree.
TIL (Today I Learned): Lynyrd Skynyrd had a massive hit with their song ‘Sweet Home Alabama.’ They’re actually from Jacksonville, Florida.
