I posted back in April about using chlorine in my hot tub, and how I intended to switch to bromine because the chemical mist was making me cough. We drained the water last night and filled it back up today…

But I didn’t switch to bromine… yet.
I’m trying Frog by @ease. Its claim is that its, “products kill bacteria 2 ways with minerals and a low level of chlorine.”
It’s expensive, but if it works, the spa should be a LOT easier to maintain and it shouldn’t leave me hacking up a lung. It’s mineral water technology with pre-filled cartridges. I’ll let you know…
It’s gonna rain for the next 3 days.
When a stretch of rainy days are forecasted, the yard simply must be mowed beforehand. We can barely keep up — this yard is a whole lot to mow. I did the front yard on the rider, and the dog’s area and ditch with a push mower. It took me hours. I don’t know how much dirt they brought in here before building the barndo, but it’s got a hill big enough that I won’t mow it.
Perry weed eated some and mowed the parts I wouldn’t. To my hours outside today he added a couple more. All that and neither of us ran the trimmer around the fence or the house — and we both forgot to mow around the mailbox. 😕

At least most of the flowers take little effort…

And bunnies don’t care how tall the grass gets. 🙂

TIL (Today I Learned): Mangos are in the poison ivy family and the skins have the same chemical (urushiol) on them.
