There was a survey conducted that asked Americans to rate the professions with the most unethical people. Before reading the article, I automatically assumed lawyers and used car salespeople would tie for #1. But no! Here are the top 5:
- Lobbyists — politics and government need an overhaul, that’s for sure.
- Telemarketers — I would likely put this in #1 but didn’t think about it.
- CONGRESS – again… politics and government.
- Car salespeople – there they are!
- State officeholders — again… politics and government.
Crazy to think that 3 of the top 5 professions that Americans think are unethical are those that are political.
The deck that may be finished by October…
Still not complaining since the weather isn’t warm enough to swim anyway, but this small deck may not be finished by fall. Poor Tim had a bad night and didn’t show up until a bit later than normal. He had 2 coons after his chickens. He killed one and one got away. He had 2 chickens dead and no eggs left, but he made noticeable progress today despite the setback.
Keep your fingers crossed that the wind dies down and the sun warms things up in southern Indiana. I’d appreciate it. 🙂
