Good ole’ Perry fired up the outside boiler yesterday. I was so excited to see it back in action!
Yes, we have to be careful because the water is so darned hot — but that sure beats not hot enough or running out if you’re using too much at one time.
Winter wheat is the rumor.
I heard through the grapevine that Farmer Rex planted winter wheat. I thought he was driving over the same patch of ground a whole lot of times just to be stirring up the chicken shit application. Because I know practically NOTHING about farming, I asked Google for details.
Interesting, but I still don’t know when he will harvest or what will go in the field afterward. Not that it makes any difference. 🙂
