I mixed up a batch of snickerdoodles that made FOUR DOZEN cookies. You can find the recipe I used here (at shelleyerwin.com).
They turned out GREAT! I might’ve had a few myself while working upstairs yesterday.
Upstairs clean-up.
I don’t go upstairs often so it was ready for a good clean-up. After moving furniture around, sweeping, mopping, and dusting, the upstairs area is ready if Ben & Coco decide to spend a night or two here during the holidays. Coco is so much like her Dad was at that age. I found several soda cans hidden in her room. Heh.
What’s next?
Since our Christmas celebrations are tomorrow, today I have to prepare whatever I’m going to feed the family. Katie and I also have a nail appointments today and I have to pick up Coco in Franklin. Whew!
While I was a little ticked about the late change of plans, I started looking forward to a nice, quiet Christmas Eve. Except… now Katie has let me know she’s coming out and Ben’s already told me he wants me to fix a big breakfast with hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits on Christmas morning.
