Colette wanted the loft bedroom for hers when we acquired the barndo. She wanted more privacy and thought the loft was cool. Of course, this Nana gives in to her every whim — and that was also true in the selection of paint color.
What was I thinking? 😵💫
It’s better than pink, I guess. Still… it’s not what I would’ve chosen.
Personality temperament of those with the favorite color orange.
Orange symbolizes optimism, confidence, warmth and agreeableness. It represents creativity and determination. All of those attributes describe Coco.
Studies conducted at Michigan State University also reveal that “Oranges” like to bounce around to different projects or tasks. And that describes her, as well.
Maybe the color orange up there is okay after all. 😉
The view outside of Coco’s personal space…
When she’s here, she only goes outside on the lower level of the barndo. I’ve not once seen her sit outside on the upstairs deck. When I was a kid, I would’ve been out there all the time (probably in a bathing suit with a fan, water hose, and radio).
As an aging adult… I still go out there a LOT — it’s one of my favorite spots. The only difference now is I wouldn’t have my fan and water hose together. 😉
Now you know: The youngest American to serve in the military in WW2 was Calvin Graham, age 12. He served in the US Navy and fought at Guadalcanal, was awarded 8 medals which were subsequently stripped when his mother saw him on a news reel and told the Navy his real age.
