My favorite granddaughter’s graduation ceremony was today. This past year, she went to a school in Indy — a Center for Inquiry School with a waiting list to get in. Until now. Hers was the last graduating class as the school is closing.
This elementary school not only offered 2 foreign languages (Spanish & Mandarin), but so many other opportunities simply not available around here. What they didn’t excel in was setting up a photo station. 🙂
It’s all good — you can make faces for the camera no matter the backdrop or how harsh the lighting is.
Summer is here and the pool is looking better!
The pool is starting to look like a pool. Good thing since Coco will be here starting Sunday while Ben is working. Let’s get this party started!
Now you know: There was a deadlier maritime disaster than the Titanic: the Sultana. Carrying 6 times the passengers than it was allotted, the Sultana sank on the Mississippi River killing over 1,100 Union Soldiers. The tragedy did not receive much attention as it was days after the assassination of Lincoln.
