I’m not sure how one goes about getting a job as a mail carrier, but evidently common sense isn’t a requirement.
Good grief!
The previous owners and builders of the barndo chose and erected the mailbox — it came with the purchase. It’s plenty big enough and even has a door that will open on the back side.
I’m going to have to get a big ole’ tube of gorilla glue to secure the back door because our mail carriers are either lazy or simply don’t care about their jobs.
The length of the box delivered was more than 2 times longer than the mailbox.
No way they would actually leave it at my door… that would require a tiny bit of effort. Instead, they crammed it in the mailbox even though more than half of the box was sticking out the back side. If that wasn’t bad enough, all but a couple envelopes were also pushed out the back and were laying on the ground. No clue if any blew away in the wind never to be seen again.
I guess since the box was “priority mail,” it took priority over all other mail items they also delivered. 🙄
Now you know: Amber Rene Hagerman’s murder remains unsolved, the AMBER alert system in the US is named in her honor.
