The stairs at the barndo were created for children with feet less than 5″ long. There are 15 of them in total. I went up with only footies on my women’s size 10 feet to get a cooler shirt and mowing shoes from my closet. Merida, my shadow, followed me up there.
While I usually go down BEHIND her, on this occasion she stopped and I didn’t. When she decided to jet past me, she slammed straight into one leg and I started down 14 of those steps on my tailbone and my arm/elbow. Merida was so scared she skidded into the door jam trying to get out of the way.
It was a dark day at the barndo. 🙁
Today, Joe Biden is probably in better shape than I am. It hurts to stand up and it hurts to sit down. I can’t even lie down comfortably. Oh! And coughing? That’s really awful. I figure I have a few days before I will feel human again.
I’m a weakling. Obviously.
When I finally stopping hitting stair after stair I did not raise my arm in a triumphant manner with my fist in the air — and I didn’t mouth, “fight! fight! fight!” I didn’t even ask for my shoes although I sure wish I’d have been wearing them for traction. I could’ve probably been heard; however, as far as Seymour yelling, “SHEEEEIT!!“
Now you know: In the US, 75 percent of truck owners use their truck for towing one time a year or less. Nearly 70 percent of truck owners go off-road one time a year or less. And a full 35 percent of truck owners use their truck for hauling once a year or less.
