Yesterday was another bad day in a row of bad days. It’s been a long time since I’ve had so many challenges all at once. When it seems like everything is falling apart and I’m rolling downhill at record speed, it’s hard to remain positive.
But then there’s a little uptick that reminds me to be grateful.
I don’t remember a single time I’ve had an that Azalea that decided to wait until late August to bloom, so I’m taking it as a reminder just for my own personal benefit that life is truly amazing. (If late blooming is normal, please don’t tell me — I don’t want to know.) 🙂
Now you know: Lt. Quentin Roosevelt was shot down and killed during the First World War and buried by the German military, making him the only son of a President to die in combat.
