The hottest and brightest season is on the way out and autumn will be ushered in by mother nature on Sunday. Shorter days and cooler nights are already upon us.
Although I do like fall, it still makes me sad to see summer go. It’s my favorite Indiana season.
Some prefer fall over the hot, humid days of summertime.
Not only is the cooler, crisp air better for walking, hiking and camping — but Indiana foliage is beautiful. The vibrant autumn colors… harvest time… Halloween and Thanksgiving are also things to look forward to. And then there’s football! Yay!
One of the major attributes of fall is the cooling off of the decks here at the barndo. I have rugs everywhere to keep puppy feet from getting too hot. (I wouldn’t have ever painted them, but the previous owners made that choice.)
Merida is happy no matter the season. 🙂
