I complained about the lack of rain and Mother Nature heard me and delivered. Matter of fact, she’s still delivering and plans to deliver today and probably tomorrow too.
I rolled in yesterday just before the heavy storms hit.
By yesterday evening, Mr. Pesky’s rain gauge showed 1.5 inches fell throughout the day. Crazy considering the average amount of rain in Indiana during the entire fall season is only 3.27 inches.
We’re only 2 days into fall and are almost 1/2 way to the average amount. It will be interesting to see what we experience from now to the 1st day of winter — this year on Saturday, 12/21.
Even with all the rain, the good news is…
…(drumroll please)… the pool cover is still in place. Woot!
