Mr. Pesky’s rain gauge showed we’ve had over 5″ of rain just in the past couple days. It’s forecasted to be cloudy today and even though the chance of rain is low, we’re still getting it. Temps are supposed to be back in the 80’s by tomorrow. I’m pretty darned tired of rain and would be ok with a bit more fall cool-off.
Orange for fall… or Halloween — whichever you prefer.
Since today is the last day of September, we changed the kitchen lighting to orange. In the spirit of being festive, I didn’t hate it during daylight hours.
But after I made a journey to the kitchen after dark, I’m pretty confident the color will be back to normal long before Halloween. If I were to bet, I’d put money on the orange being changed before nightfall tonight. 😂
It’s a good thing the barndo is on a dead-end county road. I can’t even imagine what this looks like from the outside at night. Spooky isn’t what comes to mind.
