First week of October is in the books but it continues to look like summer here at the barndo. Flowers are still blooming…
Mr. Farmer’s corn still has some green on the stalks so his fields aren’t ready to harvest yet. The grass still requires regular mowing and we need to go to war with some weed killer. And, while a few leaves are falling, most trees aren’t showing any autumn hues yet.

This week our high temps are around 10-15° cooler than last week so we know fall is here — it just doesn’t look like it yet. 🙂
