Mr. Farmer’s finished the field next to the barndo and has again planted winter wheat. It’s almost the end of October and the signs that fall is winding down are all around us.
We don’t officially usher in the winter season until December 21st this year, but by the time December rolls around it never feels like fall.
Consistent but not seeing much improvement…
There are a couple things going on that I’m committed to that are moving forward more slowly than I’d like.
First, Ben and I keep working on the Seymour house, but we’re not making a whole lot of headway. I guess I expected to finish projects there quicker than reality allows. Sanding wood floors is time consuming and dirty. That’s almost done… but we plan to paint every room except one.
The other challenge is our exercise regimen. Mr. Pesky and I are still walking every day, but we’re not really increasing our speed or our distance. I guess old people aren’t supposed to be transformed into youngsters in a week. 😉
Now you know: Jamie Lee Curtis was given $200 to create Laurie Strode’s wardrobe for Halloween (1978). She got her entire outfit from JCPenney.
