There are days my dogs are out of control. They’re horrible. Dharma loves the snow but can barely get around in it. Merida isn’t a huge fan but won’t let any living being go outside without her. And Hugo thinks snow is the best thing ever. He’s logged at least 200 miles of zoomies with only one accident.
The container holding the snake plant — my favorite, of course — was broken and I didn’t have another. I found a red storage box for a temporary fix and picked up a planter at Walmart that will never be a favorite.
Cold air makes for some major friskiness.
Dogs don’t have sweat glands all over their bodies like humans, so the cooler temps are invigorating. If only I could figure out how to make Hugo and Merida leave that instinct to run, play and hunt at the door. The only upside is after running the 200 miles of zoomies, Hugo’s energy level bottoms out and we have a short reprieve.
