Yesterday morning, I set my alarm so I could get through my routine before 8:00 AM. (Don’t judge me — 7:00 AM is mega early in my night owl world.) My trusty A/C dudes were to start the repair of my downstairs unit first thing. I was dressed and the dogs had been fed after time outside. The garage door was open and I was ready.
Then I got a call that they were on rain stand-by.

It wouldn’t be such a big deal insofar as timing if not for the fact I have 3 dogs. Two of them love all people and want to help so badly they’re in the way… and one that would love to eat the face off of all people with the exception of maybe 4 total on the entire planet.
This means I have to be a dog juggler.
Not only was the planned work on the outside, but all the mini-splits inside (upstairs and down) were on the agenda for cleaning too. That means there’s not one place I can go with my hounds away from the action, but instead I have to juggle dogs to various rooms . And it’s not like any of the 3 cooperate.

As a semi-retired event person, I think this might be a gig idea!
I just finished getting the last contract signed for a big event at Disney in October for a friend of a fortune 500 company. I do it every year — and this year on the final day, I secured Jon & Owen of The Passing Zone.
I figure if they can make a living juggling knives, chainsaws, and fire — there might be an opportunity for me with dogs. 🙂
Now you know: 3-5 cups of coffee a day is associated with the lowest overall cardiovascular disease risk after controlling for other factors.
