I’m sure y’all have noticed when one thing goes bad in your house there will be 3 more things break shortly thereafter. I’m hoping I’m at the end of the ‘breaking’ cycle even knowing that Perry is at the very beginning of the ‘fixing’ cycle.
Our tub faucet starting dripping and needs to be replaced, so I bought that. And while we’re fixing that, we should just go ahead and change out the toilet. It’s had several hairline cracks in it since we moved in… any day now it could collapse and put a human and water on the floor. And the bi-fold closet doors in there? ARG! One is off the track more than it’s on, so I ordered new hardware for it too.
And I bought an old person recumbent exercise bike…
I put birthday money on a new exercise bike and it was delivered yesterday. SOMEONE (looks at Perry) has to put it together too. No rest for the wicked they say. 😉
Since I’ve been spending money like I’m not retired, I ordered a new laptop.
It’s more than worth the money!
Apple recently came out with a MacBook Neo. I’m the girl that usually buys the biggest and baddest machines out there, but this immediately caught my eye. It’s CHEAP!! I’ve never been a big laptop fan — I prefer desktop computers. But there are times a laptop is handy. I expected it to be a plastic piece of garbage for the price, but it’s not! I’m super impressed.
If you don’t need a workhorse laptop, it’s perfect. Buy one and thank me later.
