You mow on my county road when Mr. Pesky says it’s time to mow. I talked about how I thought our yard was looking rough and he clearly said he wasn’t going to start mowing right away. I believed him… until he mowed the very next day. 🙄
So yesterday, I got the first of many yard days under my belt…
I truly thought I was ahead of the game until my g/f Julie said they mowed at their place last Saturday. Sheesh! Guess I’m not so “on it” after all. The mower started right up on first crank and the dandelions were telling me it was obviously time. Not the best job — but it ended up being a decent “FIRST TIME OF THE YEAR” job.
It hit 70° and rain can happen about any second this time of year — and it just so happened to storm like crazy in the night last night — so I’m glad we finished when we did. After mowing, I went with the hounds outside to the deck to enjoy the sunshine. Dharma especially loves it when I’m out there too because she can sleep without the other 2 youngsters pestering her.
