Here at the barndo, Perry is smoking a ham — the cherry glazed amazing kind — and I’m doing the rest. When we planned what to cook for a family meal on Easter Sunday, it was in the 80’s. Today, Chef Perry gets to freeze with the smoker in the garage — and that door wide open to keep the smoke smell out of the house.
It shouldn’t matter – it stinks in here already.
I always make deviled eggs and y’all know how THAT makes the kitchen smell. 🙂

Even colorizing the photo via PhotoShop, it’s still pretty obvious this was taken a long, long time ago. My brother is no longer a mobster, and I don’t own a single pair of patent leather shoes.
