If you share your life with more than one dog, you’ve probably seen it happen: the moment you sit down, suddenly everyone wants your attention at the exact same time. One nudges your hand for pets, another drops a toy in your lap, and a third somehow manages to wedge themselves between you and the others like they’ve won first place.

It can feel like a full-on tug-of-war, with each pup convinced they deserve the spotlight most.
Merida is over the top on EVERYTHING!
If Hugo has a toy, Merida wants it. But she doesn’t just take it. She dramatically growls and pulls and inserts herself into every action that’s taken in this household. She even roots out poor ole’ Dharma when necessary.
I keep reminding myself it’s one of the sweetest reminders of how deeply dogs love connection. They don’t care about your to-do list, your phone, or anything else — they just want you.
ALL OF THEM.
ALL THE TIME! 🐾
Now you know: Before Apollo 11, some scientists were terrified the Moon was covered in a “dust trap” that would swallow the Lunar Module whole.
