For as long as I’ve been the queen of any household, big breakfasts on weekends have been a tradition. Typically, breakfast is served when it’s actually lunchtime, but it’s always breakfast just the same.
Do you make/eat breakfast on weekends?
The puppies get their breakfast much earlier than the humans around here do.
And while many go to a restaurant for breakfast (or lunch) on Sundays after church, I prefer restaurants for evening meals. I’ll admit I’m tired of cooking every single weekend — as well as through the week — but I can’t complain now that I’m retired and those who consume my meals are accustomed to them.
Time to retire the A/C for the season.
I have one mini split unit that doesn’t cool as good as it should. Rather than shell out $10K for a replacement (we were told the entire downstairs unit and mini splits would need to be replaced — they can’t just change out one), I bought a window unit just for the office/family room. It did a GREAT job, but it was time to store it for the winter.
It’s a good thing I fed Perry breakfast so he’d have the energy for the removal task — and especially important because it had to be carried to the cubby upstairs for storage. 😉
