It’s truly an amazing world we live in, and most of the time, we don’t even think about it. It seems as if everyone now has a computer (or 10) with an Internet connection available 24/7. We are no longer just connected to the Internet at home, but many are like me — receiving emails on a cell phone that that I can also use to browse the Internet, get locations through Google maps or GPS, post messages and photos to my Twitter and FaceBook accounts, and even post to my BLOG if I want to. I’m mega connected, and you probably are too.
Factor in how easy it is now to connect with family and friends through social media, and once you connect with someone you haven’t seen in forever, you’re instantly pulled into the ‘way back’ machine. I’ve been exchanging emails with an old friend that I haven’t seen since high school and it’s got me thinking about ME.
Everyone changes — not just in appearance, but as we grow older, we also all grow to be different people than we were in high school. Don’t we? Do you ever think about how you’re different now than you were back then?
This post reminded me of an older post that deserves a look. The video still makes me laugh:
