tub shrooms are the most amazing things ever created

Apr 13, 2020

No matter where I put the tub shrooms (those rubbery tub stoppers that catch hair), Merida finds them and chews them into oblivion. She refuses to give one up for a peanut butter cracker even. On day #38 sheltered in place with her, (Dharma is easy-peasy), I feel my sanity slipping and my drains clogging by the second.

Gotta tell ya — I’m getting REALLY TIRED of this no contact crap. It’s boring if you don’t have someone to be sheltered with. I’m starting to believe my phone is another appendage I’m on it so much.

In my spare time — that would be every minute I’m not sleeping — I’m planning all the things I’m going to do when things open up to some semblance of normal. Like how many times I’ll be visiting Disney in 2021.

25 years ago in Disney - 1996

Jerilyn and I were there for the 25th anniversary in 1996. When we were there, it just happened to be gay and lesbian week. A bigger deal 25-years ago than today, we were careful to wear distinctly different colors as to not be confused as a ‘couple.’ Pretty sure we were in the minority — the majority of guests were color coordinated.

Of course, we’ll have to go back for the 50th in 2021 for a photo in front of the castle. I’ll also have to go for the yearly family trip too. This is a photo that must be repeated every single year.
