In previous posts, we’ve mentioned how our favorite tension reliever is to log on to WoW and whack Horde. To do this task – we used our ‘lowbies’, a Druid and a Priest. Well, plans have changed just a bit.
We decided to level our main characters up to 70. Shelley just hit 65 with her rogue ‘Cyrcie’ and I am just shy of that mark myself with my warrior ‘Nashaar’. You see, when we had tried to level earlier with these same two we were constantly getting wasted. Our two heroes quickly fell out of favor with us and we played using ‘alts’ or alternate characters. That worked fine for a while until the lure of 70 hit us hard.
Now we are more determined than ever to hit that magic number. With each level gained, we find ourselves holding our own now against higher leveled players. What was once an easy kill for those players has become an increasingly difficult task. We finally feel like these characters are coming into their own – and playtime has become more enjoyable.
Once we hit 70 – we plan on parking them in the battle grounds to earn their gear. I’ll keep you updated on our progress.
Oh – congratulations to Cyrcie for hitting 65! 🙂
