Mr. Pesky showed up this morning with his phone and his type A personality displayed in living color. His phone wouldn’t take charge. After making sure he didn’t have any malware or viruses and updating the OS, I checked his signal as it charged. He had three full bars.
Cell service can be touch-and-go in barndos.
I’ve heard many complaints about cell reception in homes such as this, but I have perfect signal everywhere… except in one room. Of course, it’s the one room where computers are and I need to make and accept calls. 🙄
I have AT&T… he has T-Mobile. I have Android and he has an iPhone. Six inches apart and my phone is searching for a signal while his is setting at THREE BARS.
First thing in the morning, I’m going to pop my sim in my trusty iPhone that I refused to trade in. That will be the determining factor on which thing I get rid of… Android or AT&T.
George Electric.
The dude I called about doing some electric work showed up today. I liked him. He’ll be back next week to wire a tanning bed, hot tub and pool (that won’t be here until summer). No clue what his last name is so when he gave me his mobile number, I simply entered it as “George Electric.” 🙂
What a shit show getting him in and out of the house. Merida is out of control, you guys. She LOVES company. Without close adult supervision, she’d scoot right out this door…
I’m pretty sure she has an escape plan that may or may not include use of that ladder.
TIL (Today I Learned): The popular belief in the United States that Daylight Savings Time was enacted FOR the benefit of farmers is wrong; farmers were actually some of the strongest opponents of its implementation.
