I remain a fan of the Oura ring — it’s the best health tracker on the market in my opinion. Its battery lasts days and it provides more information than you can glean from any watch. Although my band is scratched and looking rough from this summer’s projects, it never fails to give advice.

My favorite granddaughter was here this weekend. Now that school is back in session, she’s in the habit of going to bed early. 100 years ago when I was in school, weekends were for sleeping until noon. Not Coco! She was stomping around by 5:30 AM this morning. 🥱
That yearly diet we fondly call “fat chicks” is back on.
Jerilyn, Katie and I do a diet every year. We share a ‘feet on scales’ photo every week and the one that fails hardest buys dinner for all at St. Elmos Steakhouse. I’m competitive. I didn’t even want to do it this year but here I sit… starving and sleepy.
I should’ve been a dog. They love to get up early, sleep off and on all day, and stay up until the last human retires at night. Their food intake is controlled by someone else. That routine might work for me.
