The barndo closing was exactly 2 years ago today… on October 13, 2022. Easy to remember the date since the purchase was on Tader’s birthday. He turns 65-years old today… HBD Tader! 🙂
7 years ago, it didn’t even cross my mind that I’d be back.
In October 2017, I’d already purchased 2 homes in Seymour and figured my time here on the outskirts of Crothersville were over. I even shared a photo here on whatifitdid.com with a post about how the view on my county road would soon be a memory.
It’s funny now since the barndo is in that very photo…

I may be 2 years older (look and feel at least 10 years older– but have the same glasses), but I’m just as happy with the decision to sell the Seymour house and move back today as I was then. I don’t miss Seymour or the house on Lasher Drive, and I no longer miss that little house I owned for so long.
Sure, there are things I’d still like to do here. I think that’s the case no matter where you live or how long you’ve lived there. Still, if I do nothing else at all it’s just fine.
