At 2:00 AM our clocks in Indiana spring forward to 3:00 AM. I’m not a fan of daylight savings time, but it’s not something I’d fight to change. According to a Gallup survey conducted from January 21-27, 2025, 54% of Americans are NOT in favor of continuing DST, indicating a majority want to see it end.
48 states observe DST with Hawaii and Arizona not participating. Hawaii is close to the equator so daylight hours remain consistent year round — and Arizona opted out because of sun exposure in the desert climate.
Dharma thinks it smells like spring is coming!

I’m ready to see some green on the trees and grass myself. Springing forward with DST is just another reminder that winter is almost a memory. 🙂
Now you know: IKEA’s founder, Ingvar Kamprad, had dyslexia, so he used Swedish names instead of numbers for products—making them easier to remember and now a signature part of the brand.
