I got an email from Medicare about what I should look for when choosing a nursing home. Within the email was a big green block for a link to “FIND A NURSING HOME.” I didn’t click the link and quickly opened the email from Pizza Hut about needing both hands for “Wing Wednesday.” After the Medicare email, I wondered if Pizza Hut only thought old people needed 2 hands, and everyone under 50 got a different email only needing one hand.
Obviously, The Buckle and Macy’s know me better.
The Buckle thought I’d like low slung baggy camo jeans and Macy’s was tempting me with a new comforter for my bed. Who doesn’t want a closet and/or a bedroom upgrade? My email about an article in the NY Post was the best fit of all emails received. The title was, “New Yorkers are taking their dogs everywhere – or going nowhere.“
Same, New Yorkers. Same.

And then I saw a meme.
I added to that meme just so I could share it with you.

Y’all know how I like playing with images in ChatGPT, right? On a whim, I uploaded my photo (the one from the meme above), and asked ChatGPT to “make the person in the photo to look like a 65 year-old.”
Oh my! The “ME” on the left is younger than the “ME” on the right. 😯

Now you know: The day after Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, James Brown gave a free citywide televised concert in Boston Garden in which he pleaded for the black community to remain calm and non-violent. The effort was largely successful, and Brown was credited with saving Boston.
