The second Jerilyn dropped out of the fat girls contest I was craving pancakes. I know there are people that will claim their favorite restaurants have the best pancakes — they are all wrong. Cracker Barrel has the VERY BEST pancakes on the planet. Perry and I hopped in the car and headed out to satisfy my craving.
Some changes since I was there last…
I noticed that the interior was brightened up in our local CB. The walls are now painted cream and light green, and there are cut-outs too that let in more light. The decor remains the same. The menus are a bit different and there are a few offerings I don’t remember from before, but all the old favorites are still there… including… you guessed it… PANCAKES!
The barndo as the sun is going down.
As we were headed home on US 31, I glanced over toward the barndo and snapped a photo. I know it looks like a big ole’ garage on the outside and I don’t care. I love where I am and I’m grateful.
