My day might seem worse than mundane to most people. Not focusing on work at least 18 hours a day is pretty darned amazing in my book.
My mornings usually go something like this…
- Wake up late. (I’d sleep later if not for the puppies wanting outside.)
- Have a cup of coffee while checking email.
- Feed the hounds and let them outside again.
- Shower.
- Walk on the treadmill for 45 minutes.
- Fix breakfast and eat outside on the deck (for now anyway).

Afternoons are a rinse and repeat.
Basically, afternoons are spent doing the same stuff as listed above — plus house, yard, laundry, and flower stuff. All boring, right? Not for me. I’m so thankful for my boring-to-others days. ❤️
Now you know: Many old British homes have bricked-up windows. It’s because at the end of the 15th century, William III imposed a tax based on how many windows a home had.
