My Momma took a spill and conked her forehead on the tile. So far there’s been 2 ER visits, and she has an appointment with her regular doctor today. Initially, it was just a big ole bump.
While I would share a photo up close, it’s a bit too graphic, but this photo taken last night at a distance will give you an idea of what happens when a huge knot makes its way down your face.
She’s going to look beat up for several days yet but she’s still smiling. She’s tougher than your Mom — and she’s tougher than you, too.
Lucky? Yes. Sort of…
Of course, she wasn’t lucky to fall, and was pretty darned unlucky to crack her head. What IS lucky is that she doesn’t have a brain bleed and this too shall heal.
I’m making a big push for carpet throughout their place. It’s either that or bubble wrap. Not sure I’ll be successful on either of those things, but it won’t stop me from trying. 🙂
