my favorite brother breezed through the ville

Oct 11, 2026

My favorite brother flew into Louisville yesterday after a speech. He had some special paint work done on his new Tesla S in Louisville and stopped to see the fam on his way back home in Fort Wayne.

I loved my car until I saw his! I keep repeating, “I’m retired and I don’t drive that much,” over and over again. To be transparent, although I do love his car, I’d rather drive what I’ve got and avoid the pressures that come with the profession. 🙂

Before the meal came the photos…

There’s none of the 4 of us together because I didn’t feel like finding a spot to set the phone’s camera up outside. And even though this is an AWFUL photo of me, I’m adding it because I don’t know how long it’s been since I had a photo taken with my bro.

The pesky neighbors prepared a great spread complete with dessert.

Mr. Pesky is probably still doing dishes. 😉

Life gets busy, and it’s easy to assume there will always be another opportunity to get together. But time has a way of reminding us that these moments are worth making a priority — and every visit doesn’t have to be a special occasion.

Sometimes, just showing up, spending a little time together, and enjoying each other’s company is more than enough.

Now you know: More chocolate is bought at Brussels Airport in Belgium than anywhere else in the world. On average, a 1 pound box is sold every 15 seconds.
