When we arrived in Greenwood at 2:30 PM, we didn’t know Kabuto’s doors open at 4:00 PM. No one had eaten and we simply didn’t think we could wait. Opting for Red Lobster instead, it wasn’t so busy that we waited long to be seated. Our order was taken quickly. Then, we waited. And waited.
We got rolls, no salad. The salad came with no one having anything left to drink. Imagine a hungry little girl not quite 2 years-old with nothing to eat, and nothing to drink. It wasn’t long until crayons began to fly.
When the food did arrive, Coco was frustrated to the point of being plain ole’ mad, my steak was nothing but raw, bleeding gristle (although I ordered it prepared medium well), and those who ordered lobster found it to be dry and extremely overdone. Black. No one cared when we waited for the check to arrive. No one asked if we enjoyed our meal. I conclude this is the reason old people like Cracker Barrel. It’s cheap, and there are no surprises. Dining at Cracker Barrel, it’s a sure thing you’ll never look at a $200 check while still wishing for a drink of water. Happy birthday, Perry… sorry it wasn’t better…
