Our lower level characters (one of the many pairs of alternate characters we have), finally got our riding mounts! Not a big deal — everyone gets a mount once they achieve level 40. The big deal in this case boils down to vanity. My priest, Arienne, did NOT want to ride her racial mount. No. She did NOT want to be seen riding a big fat elephant. Instead, for hours this pair worked on her reputation so she could ride this very cool cat.
