UPS knocked on the bedroom door this afternoon (when my buddy, Roger, is on vacation the temp driver doesn’t know the office is now a bedroom — and the bedroom is now an office) with a delivery. I knew this important delivery had been shipped, but had forgotten about it with all the other things I have going on and couldn’t figure out what I’d ordered online that I should be excited about. Better than anything I might’ve purchased, the boxes were filled with ARCs (advance reader copies) of books.
