Things are a bit different around here this holiday season and I didn’t really notice HOW different until about halfway through my morning routine — reading all the blogs I follow, looking at a few of the Pinterest pages I check occasionally, and surfing through Facebook photos. There’s a 2 year-old here, you guys.
All the festive decorations and holiday decor? Pretty much gone. You don’t do lovely candle lit centerpieces (I swear Coco’s arm reach is at least 6 feet). Floral arrangements are for hiding toys or pulling pieces out to pester the dogs. Live garland? Not even going there. All those tiny ornaments? No way.
Look out Christmas 2013! This little house will look like the Griswold’s in Christmas Vacation.

Clark: No, Aunt Bethany, those are the Christmas lights.
