Use bromine. Trust me on this.
This isn’t my first hot tub. Hot tub #1 was treated with bromine but I wasn’t thrilled with the smell. I like the smell of chlorine on my skin when I get out of a pool or hot tub. This time, we tried chlorine. First, chlorine doesn’t work as well in hot water — but I could live with that.
The primary reason I’m going back to bromine is that I’m about to cough up a lung. Breathing chlorine in hot mist is irritating my respiratory tract. Take it from me — don’t even consider chlorine, you guys. I won’t be getting in until the water is changed out.
Merida’s holding me to that…
Dharma took the night shift.
Plants, dead trees, and walls…
Perry cut up a tree and planted 3 bushes. Pretty happy to have him around this week since we’re getting lots done.
And we’re not the only ones getting things done either. The garage door finally came out yesterday.
Next week should be the end of this. Pretty sure they’ll finish the rest of the trim in here today and be ready to start building the closet and spraying the entire room starting Monday. The upstairs should be quick and easy.
TIL (Today I Learned): Australian magpies, one of the cleverest birds on Earth, once helped each other to remove tracking devices researchers took 6 months to create and put on them. Within 20 minutes, one helping magpie had found the only weak point and snipped to remove the device.
