I saw something a couple weeks ago and had to make a special trip just to capture it for you adoring and faithful What if it Did fans. You wanna know something? I still snicker every single time I see the photos I’m about to share with you…

Ok, we get it! Even without the nice hangman’s noose, we get it. And I think that the smiley face with the words, “Have a nice day” was a wonderful afterthought. But check out the side of the same building…

Trusspassers will be shot for crying out loud! ::gulp::

I’m working at my desk and hear an amazing amount of chatter going on outside the door. Even Libby’s curiosity was aroused to the point that she was insisting that we take a break and step out on the back deck…

I think when you live where there’s a contrast in the four seasons, you simply appreciate them more. What do you think?

I can remember “the look” I gave my late father when there was something I really wanted, and hearing him say, “Don’t you look at me with those big brown eyes!” He would always cave in and deliver. Without a doubt, I had the power to manipulate him with nothing more than look. Crazy? Not really…

They always say that ‘what goes around comes around’, and I believe it to be true. What was it you said you wanted again, Ben? 😉

Throughout your life you make and lose a lot of friends. And, if you’re like me, you have many acquaintance type friends — but very few that you know you could depend on for anything. I’m talking about the kind of friend that’s been there as long as you can remember, and that you have no doubt will be there until the end…
Today is Alisa’s birthday — my “till the end” friend.
As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized that people should choose their friends by the way they make you feel. If you can’t trust a friend — that doesn’t feel good. If a friend is jealous, or takes you for granted, or isn’t dependable or constantly criticizes you — that doesn’t feel good either. What feels good is someone who takes you exactly like you are and appreciates you unconditionally. I know that Alisa and I have this reciprocal kind of friendship.

“If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.”
Winne the Pooh
*said in my best Nancy Grace voice* Happy birthday, friend!!
